Is there an equivalent term for the United's Global Service's to an elite level in Continental?

United Global Services is an unpublished program that is not officially part of the Mileage Plus program. Continental offers a similar level, but it is a published level of the OnePass program. Presidential Platinum Elite offers perks similar to United Global Services and is a level above Platinum. The new United is currently transitioning to a unified frequent flier program. Since both programs have four (more or less) levels you can probably expect the new program to have four levels. The names of those will be announced when the new program is announced.
