Need help with a european playstation 3 model.?

i am in the US right now, and would like to purchase a playstation 3 and take it with me overseas to europe. does anyone know about the power diffrences or anything of that sort i should be worrying about? maybe a power converter or something? i want to be sure that it will work with europes electrical diffrence. please help. thanks
