Roxio game capture green tint on my screen?

i recently got a roxio game capture and i use to have my xbox go straight VGA and not the its running through the card and i have a component to VGA converter since my tv doesnt have component the quality seems to be reduced and i have a green tint to my screen. is there anything i can about this?
