Please help me find a FREE mpeg2 to mov converter for Mac...?

I have already tried Streamclip, but it says I have to purchase MPEG 2 playback plugin from Apple's website... (for 20$). Is there any free (not freeware) MPEG2 to .mov converter for Mac? I've tried lots of programs, but they are all freeware and have limitations.
