Is this normal for a cat?

Ok. He's 7 years old. Yesterday he has fechd a bird and kill the poor thing(this part is normal) then he has Cary the bird to hiss feeding Plate and ate it actually on the feeding plat. This question is a little big stupid, but anyway.
