I can't remember the name of this one game i played as a kid?

It was a plat former, About 3 Barbarians on the bottom or top one of the corners of the screen you could see a picture of each barbarian and if that one died. Their picture would suddenly be replaced with their skeleton meaning they were dead. Each one had a special ability and usually you needed to use all 3 to escape the level. And the first level you had to make your way to a village? I think and then you got abducted by aliens or something. There was a ship. I can't remember the ability's of the barbarians or the name of the game and that's about all the information i can give... I think i remember there being this one level that was like a cave with crystals... Like yoshi's island cave... But it had spikes and bridges in the level. Does anyone know the name of this game? I think it was for the playstation...
